Usually we need to get an exact color when we print a document on a surface, and for this, a Color Engine (CMM) is used, which is responsible for the graphic and colorimetric transformation of the image to a printing system.

You can find several Color Management Software on the market to do this, and all them use standard ICC profiles to make the transformation between the color spaces.

But it has been shown over the years that the ICC profile does not work well when trying to print a design on complex processes such as ceramics and others.

?Why is this happening?

Because the color spaces of these printing processes are so small that the colorimetric transformation that must be carried out is much more complex than that which is done in simple processes.

If you are facing problems on your printing process, even if you have a traditions Color Management Software, you should know the problem is not about you.
