Why the CNC metal machining price is so different? -From Xiamen Abbylee Tech Co. Ltd

Recently, one of my old client and my very good friend told me that Abby, your CNC machining ?metal price is 3 times higher than others? When I heard this, firstly thing comes to my mind is that’s ?not possible because we have our own CNC factory and the profit is limit and reasonable, and the 2nd??thought is that how other factories do it?

Then we are very grateful that my good friend showed me other factories quality, and then I smiled and understood why their price was so low.The difference is always regardless by the final client but as an over 10-year old expert in CNC machining field, we understand what they did .

ABBYLEE factory ‘s ?CNC natural surface is very smoothly, while some other factories’?surface with low price is very rough, because they used only 1 CNC lathe and increase the milling speed and feed speed, which could lower the CNC time, but will influence the quality for smoothly and accuracy, and in our factory, we always use 2 CNC lathe ,one is big and the other is small, and our milling speed and feed speed is slowly to ensure quality and accuracy. The difference is as below,

Then I reflected on my own, although I have done over 10 -years experience in the field, I should and must know the client’s requests more accuracy, because we always done the high-quality part so disregard the requests of the clients that want to save the cost. Just like this case, it lead the misunderstanding between my client and me, but when I explained to him, I believe he will understand the reason.

And of course, in the future quoting, I will add one more process to ask client that the surface they prefer? If did not have the strong request for the surface, we could also do the rough surface and reducing around 3 time-4 times CNC cost to clients.
