Why China EMBA Students Visited Konnect in Nairobi Kenya

On August 20th, 2024, Ahadi Wireless, operating under the brand name Konnect, had the pleasure of hosting a group of 19 Executive MBA students from the prestigious Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business.?

This school develops business leaders who are responsible, innovative, and future-focused. As part of their studies, they visited us to explore how Konnect operates and understand our impact on the community.

What Happened During the Visit?

The visit started with a warm welcome as the students arrived at our Zimmerman hub. After an introduction by the master of ceremonies and Konnect News leader, our CEO, Tiger, gave an engaging presentation about Konnect and showcased our services.

They learned about Konnect News, Konnect Wallet, Konnect Food+, Konnect Internet, and Konnect Water. To spice up their visit, the students enjoyed Kenyan food, including mahamri, giving them a taste of our culture.

What Did They Learn About Ahadi’s Businesses?

During the presentations, the students understood how Ahadi’s businesses work and make a difference.

• Konnect Water: They saw how we provide purified water to enhance community health.
• Konnect Food+: They discovered how we offer a wide range of products, from food to electronics, catering to diverse community needs.
• Konnect Wallet: They were impressed by how this digital payment solution makes it easy to pay bills, top-up airtime, transfer money, and access various services.
• Konnect News: They appreciated how Konnect News highlights community stories and amplifies local voices.

At the end of the visit, EMBA students shared their thoughts, asked questions, and got clarifications from our CEO.

We had an amazing group photo session, then our team took them around to explore the communities we serve.
