How often do you get curious about your why, then attempt to observe your unique approach with fresh eyes? There's something awkward about tracking a step by step process vs. observing who you are being while working with clients.

You might get rather philosophical and reflective, then you would think about how you want to phrase your answer.
Sorry, that approach might give you an idea about your essence but it won't be accurate.
The popular expression, "You can't read the label when you're inside the bottle" might resonate with you for a reason.

Some people might say, "I want them to be the best version of themselves."

When I ask you to recall a moment in time, and you vividly recreate that moment out loud, the experience sounds and feels different from thoughts that come to mind while reflecting on a question you read.

7 个月It's so true that you can't read the label when you're inside the bottle. Our talents and impact to our clients is a "great experience" for the expert and the client, but how to describe and explain it is another story. I believe it takes a third party to listen and read between the lines to discover the ultimate value we bring as experts and having a 3rd party do that is necessary.
