I made a purchase this week that would seem mundane and not even worth mentioning. But I’m excited about it and happy to be putting it to use.?

It’s a $49 digital wall clock from Amazon.?

It tells me the date, time and temperature. It has count-down and count-up timers, a changeable light strip at the bottom (choose from red / green / pink / yellow / sky blue / dark blue), and can be fully operated by remote control from my desk.??

It’s the best addition to my home office so far this year.?

With it, I can put a bright, unignorable countdown on myself for every task I do (such as writing this article, for which I have 20 minutes).?
