Why Care about Donald Trump, the Man?

Why Care about Donald Trump, the Man?

We're mad as hell and we're not gonna take it anymore!

Donald Trump continues to hold a substantial lead in the polls to be the nominee of the Republican Party for the 2016 presidential election. What is stunning to me is that he is leading in virtually every category, including with women, people with college degrees, Tea Party conservatives, and most alarming, Evangelical Christians.

In most cases, as Mr. Trump likes to boast, he leads by wide margins ("I'm dominating in all the polls!" Trump says from the stump whenever he has opportunity.). It does not seem to matter to people that his life tends to reflect hedonistic values and that he will strike the iron while it's hot no matter who gets burned. Trump will get what he wants no matter what it costs, or who gets hurt.

I am blown away that millions of evangelicals sincerely laying hold to Biblical values of godliness as being Christ-like, actually believe that Donald Trump is to be held up - exalted - as presidential for this so-called Christian-nation, the United States of America. Donald Trump is not only a lavish billionaire living in extravagance beyond imagination, he has a history of indulging in a lifestyle of lust and greed; decadent depravity.

The things Donald Trump is alleged to have said, particularly about women and his sexual conquests, would make the authentic Christ follower's stomach turn. Trump is alleged to have said that if his daughter wasn't his daughter, he would be "dating her", whatever that means for the man who's admittedly been to bed with scores of women... (and I'll say it) whatever his money can buy.

I don't care as much that Donald Trump is one of the wealthier people on the planet. I care that his motivation is all about what he can take. His intentions are not about what he is willing to give (for example, funding his own presidential campaign), it is my opinion that he is motivated by how being president benefits him.

It is stunning, and dare I say shocking, to me how easily truly God-fearing believers have surrendered to the deceptions of one Donald Trump. The same people who were outraged by the indiscretions of Bill Clinton, while President, and laugh at Hillary for putting up with it, are exalting Donald Trump as presidential. Trump's the same guy! Just richer!

When then Senator Barrack Obama ran for president in 2008, who did he appeal to? What voters did his campaign strategize to win? African-Americans ready to finally be represented in the Oval Office (let's be honest about that); people living in poverty by promising them economic equality of some kind, and perhaps celebrities and moguls who'd get to party in the White House with him, and be seen with him at fundraisers and around town... just to name a few.

While I will not get into what this president has accomplished or not concerning his promises and policies, I will say this: Donald Trump is succeeding with a very similar strategy to attract votes. As did Barrack Obama, Mr. Trump will say whatever it takes to get elected into the Republican nomination. The difference between what President Obama did and what Donald Trump is doing is the electorate being compelled by the message. Donald Trump is appealing to the anger of U.S. citizens concerning the security of our nation, economic well-being, her borders and the matter of illegal immigration, and the stark reality of terrorism and foreign threats.

Like our current president, what Donald Trump is doing to deceive the electorate is genius. Who cares who Donald Trump is as a person? Who cares how he has treated people less fortunate than he is? Who cares how he views women, relationships with them, and marriage? (This might be a low blow, but how many of his sexual encounters resulted in aborted babies? Who cares?) How many of Trump's business decisions cost people their careers and quality of life? Who cares?

All we care about is that we're mad as hell and we're not gonna take it anymore! Is that right children of Almighty God?... who, by the way, will not be mocked!!

Who cares? I have a hunch God cares... a lot... about the kind of person that is the leader of anything... particularly when the lives of His kids are at stake.

America, despite it's wretchedness, is still the most Christian nation on the planet. If we don't get this right in 2016... it's on us.

Here's a thought... I'm not sure that Donald Trump isn't merely a shill for someone else to be elected that all of his supporters will really freak out about. You think they're mad, now? Just wait.

If you agree, please, please, share it... or at least talk about this with your family, friends, acquaintances, co-workers, etc. There needs to be enough of us talking about it if we have any shot at making a difference.

I look back on the past elections--Bush the Progressive, Clinton the Socialist, Bush the Progressive, and Obama the Socialist. All have professed to be Christians, but their actions continue to destroy this country; pro corporations, anti We The People. Each and every president has said what it takes to be in that office. Their talk doesn't support their walk. Remember Jimmy Carter, the worse president we have every had. That is until Obama. The many Christians I've talked too that support Trump don't exalted him as you so elegantly put it. No, I don't like his behavior, No. I don't like him not being conservative. And like the others he says he's a Christian. We have only two choices in this country, Democrat or Republican. The Democrat platform speaks for itself--pure evil. The other party is not far behind. All the Republican candidates are Washington insiders that march to the GOP music. The control the purse strings but continue to put us in debt and support Planned Parenthood. The past budget they gave Obama and the Democrat Party everything. Trump would not be my choice or my Christian brothers and sisters if there was another option. He is the only one secure this country and get our jobs back. It would take pages to tell what is wrong with Trump, but it would take volumes for the other candidates. Your choice and mine--pick between the many evils. Because the majority of Christians don't agree with you, please stop labeling us as evil.

As a Christian I know that Trump does not know the teachings of the Bible. On top of that he is not politically correct as to the view of what a president's behavior should be. We the people are not fooled like you think we are. Looking back on the past president's, Jimmy Carter, being a Christian, was the worse president ever, until Obama came along. Bush, Clinton, Bush, whether Democrat or Republican have sold this country's soul to the Devil, called corporations and their own greed. They talked as a Christian, they on the most part behaved like a Christian, except Clinton, and they promised the same things that Trump is promising. All talk, not show. Trump does not put on airs to fool the We The People. What you see is what you get. He's talking the talk, now it's time to see if he will walk the walk. Trump and Cruz 2016. Our prayers for our nations have gone unanswered. Our country is no longer great and no other country looks up to us. If God can use a donkey to move someone, then he can use Trump to move this nation.
