Why can SKT jigging be applied to thermal coal separation?
Several commonly used thermal coal separation processes
At present, the commonly used separation methods for thermal coal include dry separation,lump coal jigging separation, jigging separation, lump coal dense medium separation, lump coal jigging+fine coal dense medium cyclone, lump coal dense medium + fine coal dense medium cyclone.
The method of dry separation has small processing capacity and low separation precision, which is suitable for roughing.The dense medium separation has a large processing capacity and high separation precision, but the investment and operation cost are high. Jigging coal separation can be applied to non-classification, wide grain size, lump and final coal separation, but the separation accuracy of difficult separation coal is poor. Thermal coal is usually easy to separate, so it is more suitable for jigging process. Jigging coal has many advantages such as large processing capacity, low investment and operation cost, high separation precision, etc. Therefore, the jig process should be preferred in the field of thermal coal washing.
Main technical features of SKT jigging are as follows:
(1) The new soft contact CNC cover plate valve without back pressure is applied (figure 1). The air valve is similar in structure to the original cover valve, but subtly changes the direction of the air inlet, transforming the back pressure that originally blocked the opening of the cover into the power to push the cover open, shortening the opening time of the air valve and speeding up the opening speed. The valve also changed the solid cushion rubber pad in the past into a curved rubber ring. When the cover is closed, it is in soft contact with the curved rubber ring without hard impact. The effect of the wind pressure just causes the rubber ring to close the cover to prevent air leakage. The air valve has the advantages of no open back pressure, no close impact, no wear and tear, energy saving and not easy to damage.
(2) Adopt multi - room common air valve technology. The Tangshan Branch of the Coal Science Research Institute has developed a patented multi-chamber shared damper technology, which simplifies the 10 valves of the conventional two-stage five-chamber jig into 4, and changes the five sets of gas source triplets into one set. Purify the fueling device. Through the above improvements, the failure rate of the damper, the number of wearing parts, the amount of maintenance, and the amount of high-pressure air are all reduced by more than 70%.
(3) SKT series jig adopts single-compartment funnel-shaped combination body, with an air chamber on the side of each room (figure 2). The washing water is U-shaped, and the pulsating water flow does not interfere with each other, which can reduce energy loss; the rising water flow spreads along the deflector to generate a forward momentum, which is beneficial to heavy materials. This is especially important for the washing of lump coal, which can improve the treatment capacity; the bottom of each jigging chamber shrinks into a funnel shape, and the through-filing material is introduced into the discharge end through the steel pipe, which can both dampen the pulsating water flow and diffuse the energy lost. Greatly reduce the body's own weight and water capacity.
(4) The SKT series jig adopts the overflow-free hopper funnel-type static discharge method, and the overflow weir is eliminated to prevent secondary layer material collision and over-flow overflow. An additional overflow embankment is added to flexibly adjust the thickness of the heavy product bed in each section; the silo is deepened to prevent the water flow from moving up and down in the discharge channel and affecting the discharge stability; the discharge wheel is arranged at the bottom of the discharge channel Below, the length of the discharge wheel can be reduced, and the cross section of the material can be increased, so that the bulk material is not easy to be pulled. The discharge wheel is a forced discharge, its speed can be adjusted steplessly and it has a good linear response to the discharge amount. The SKT Jig can continuously, stably and accurately control the discharge volume, and the product quality is easy to guarantee.
(5) The control system composed of PLC programmable controller and touch screen realizes the numerical control of wind valve and automatic discharging, and expands the automatic feeding of coal, ash back control and communication with the upper computer according to the need.
Jigging coal preparation has many advantages such as strong adaptability to raw coal quality, flexible product structure, large processing capacity, low investment and production cost, high sorting precision, etc., especially the unique discharge structure of SKT jig, which can adapt to wide The need for granular grade thermal coal washing is therefore very suitable for the washing of thermal coal.
