WHY
WHY are we BUSY? WHY do we TRANSITION the IMPOSSIBLE into the I’M POSSIBLE?
WHY is a good question.
WHY is great for solving problems: Find the WHY – the root cause analysis – the problem behind the problem. For the greater impact ask WHY five times (or four or six) – it is not an exacting number but a concept.
Accomplishing the IMPOSSIBLE is achievable by breaking it down into manageable components.
Is “Why are we here?” an IMPOSSIBLE question to answer? Let’s break it down to its two component questions:
Why? --- Because (Why not?)
Are we here? – Apparently so. (Look in the mirror for confirmation)
WHY is great for finding purpose or meaning. “The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out WHY.” --Mark Twain
WHY is great for communicating. “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.” –John Maxwell. Explaining the WHY you care can both clarify and prioritize what you are trying to convey.
Keep asking WHY.
