Why are blockchain developers paid so well?

Many people ask me how a blockchain programmer is so well paid. Supply and demand: the lower the supply and the higher the demand, the higher the prices per hour / project. But, demand for what?

Everyone wants to become millionaires by creating their "millennial token", that "unique token that is so different from all the others," and they hire you to mint that token. You then go and copy & paste the tutorial, and voila, you're done. How is it possible that so much is charged for that?

The interesting part is the "integration". How do I integrate that with an existing system? That's where the billable hours are, which you cannot copy & paste, nor can you search for an existing plugin, as the tehcnologoy is so new, that there is nowhere to copy it from.

Here I share an integration I built, where all the purchase orders of a WordPress / WooCommerce are saved in the blockchain as a "public purchase receipt", which supports the buyer for their purchase.
