Why Not? If a BIG BROWN Truck delivers a 3lb box, so can a small flying object - but is not just delivery!

Amazon’s Delivery Drones: Where Will They Land?

So many questions – where will Drones land, navigate hanging wires, dodge dogs, deliver to apartments and so on – all will be solved, in phases, and sooner than we think.

Maybe NY City is not ideal as a pilot, and a “Weather Permitting” qualifier for Chicago like winter is needed- but with a 15 miles range, many cities like Cookeville, Tn, and Boca Raton, Fl as well as 100's of rural areas will see the first waves - a much easier and greener solution.

Imagine medicine delivered to a sick person (think of a child for dramatic effect – or just you when the flu got you down). How about flowers landing on front lawn as you arrive home for a forgotten anniversary, or just to say “I love you”! Do you need a replacement phone on your way to work…etc. And come December of 2016, Saint Nick maybe a perfect beta user!

The drone industry future is not about delivery, it is so much richer.. More than 1 billion people on earth live in hard to reach places. A transportation system to deliver essentials is evolving for faster, cheaper, safer, and greener access. In more progressive areas, farming, pipeline, water management, disaster recovery, wild life & parks, sporting event and construction industries are fueling the industry. While projected at a conservative $5-6 billion by 2020, I think it is significantly more as the rest of the world will leap frog into the possibilities, like they did with cell phones.
