"Why Being Busy Is Not Enough: The “3 Secret Criteria” to Productivity That Get Results"?

"Why Being Busy Is Not Enough: The “3 Secret Criteria” to Productivity That Get Results"

Do you work hard every day, cross items off your to-do list, and yet find out that you always seem to have “more month” than “money”?

After 24 years as a coach, I’ve noticed something very strange …

… A lot of coaches are busy, but not productive.

“What’s the difference?”, I hear you ask.

Productive work is the kind of work that gets RESULTS.

The kind of work that will enable you to:

  • work as little (or as much) as you want
  • get qualified leads of people eager to pay top dollar for your offers
  • avoid getting lost in time-wasting “rabbit holes” that leave you disappointed, frustrated, or overwhelmed, yet without anything to show for all your time and effort :-(
  • get your time back

Productive work meets 3 simple (and secret) criteria.?

For me, a productive day could be simply taking care of ONE important email (an email that moves my business forward) as long as the email meets these “3 secret criteria”.

Want to find out the “3 secret criteria” so that you always know exactly what to do to move your business forward??

Here’s the thing … "busy" work can be tempting to focus on. It's the work that makes us feel productive and accomplished. It’s not exactly wrong, but it doesn't necessarily lead to the results we're looking for.

It’s work that is safe.

The work that means something (and will actually get results) includes:

  • signing up clients, signing up clients, and signing up clients
  • signing up clients at higher rates (so you don't need so many clients)
  • creating group coaching programs to leverage your time
  • building your audience
  • creating a simple marketing funnel

Signing up clients should always be a top priority for coaches because, without clients, there is no business!

Here’s how to prioritize the top 3 activities for the day:

Start with your long-term goals, then work backward to determine what you need to do to achieve them. For example, determine your 10-year goal.?

Use this to figure out your 5-year goal => 2 years => 1 year => 6 months => 1 month => 1 week => Daily goals.

Secret #1: Stuck??

Ask your coach to help you gain clarity because this is the most important part of the process.?

Clarity is super important because without a goal, you cannot aim and you cannot score.

If you don’t have a coach, sign up here for a [FREE] complimentary clarity session with one of the great coaches on my team.

Once you have a list of daily tasks, evaluate each one based on its importance and urgency.?

Pick the 3 daily tasks which are most critical to your goals and have a target time or a time-sensitive nature. Decide which ones can be postponed or delegated.

Secret #2: Got accountability??

For simple self-accountability, simply write down the 3 tasks for the following day before you sleep at night. That way, your brain is processing solutions while you sleep!?

For even MORE MOMENTUM, always check in with your coach if you have trouble implementing any of these steps.

  • Tune in to your intuition

Tune in to the Higher Intelligence/your intuition for guidance so that you can pivot to address whatever is in your highest good (and the highest good of all).?

This way, you will be prepared to meet unexpected events or changes that may arise throughout the day with grace.?

Secret #3: Got momentum??

Every day, pick the top 3 tasks which fit ALL these 3 secret criteria, eliminate distractions, and do them FIRST.?

Any task you do after this is simply a cherry on top!

By prioritizing these top three activities for your day, you will focus your energy, gain massive momentum, and make incredible progress on the high-leverage tasks that have the most significant impact on your goals.

Best of all, you will achieve all this without suffering from burnout or overwhelm.?

Please share your feedback in the comments below. Let me know if you will give my “3 secret criteria system” a shot.?

With all the love in my heart,

Christian

ps. Are you like a lot of coaches who love to help others, but find that they struggle within their own business?

It’s very common.?

As a coach, because you are detached from the emotions of a situation, you can objectively help someone else.?

Likewise, you need someone objective to help YOU.

If you find that you know “what” to do and yet you find that you postpone taking care of important tasks, then most likely, there may be some fears, doubts, or limiting beliefs that you can release -- so that you can make faster progress.?

Here’s your invitation to book a FREE session with my team while the sessions are still available.?

Thank you Christian, very useful advice for productivity. But "the 3 secret criteria" - could you please clarify, what do these refer to? "Every day, pick the top 3 tasks which fit ALL these 3 secret criteria" - Which are the 3 criteria? Thanks!

Great advice Christian. And it works wonders to have a coach! Your programs helped build my practice. Which in turn has brought prosperity, better relationships, health and peace to my clients. Thanks. ??
