CAUTION: CONTENT IS HOT!
This is a special edition of BK Morning Brew! ?? ?? WARNING: This Brew isn’t your average sip – it’s served piping hot! Prepare yourself, because this cup holds more than just a morning jolt. It’s the kind that wakes up your mind, stirs your soul, and leaves an imprint long after the steam fades. So, grip your mug tight, and let’s sip this bold, no-sugar-coating, straight-to-the-point pour. Ready? Here we go. Remember…I warned you!??
There’s a moment in life when you realize that not everyone sees the world the way you do. You might value kindness, honesty, or hard work, while others seem content to settle for shortcuts and half-truths.
It’s like being a bee, drawn to the sweetness of honey, while flies buzz around, content with their sh*t.
When you watch a bee at work, you see purpose, focus, and the intent to build something that feeds the world. They create honey—sweet, golden, life-sustaining. Bees understand their role in a much larger ecosystem, and they move with clarity, making choices that contribute to the greater good. They work together, they communicate, and they recognize that their actions ripple beyond themselves, impacting the hive and the world beyond.
Now, compare that to flies.
Flies buzz around with chaotic energy, drawn to decay, to whatever sh*t smells the worst. They swarm, they multiply, and they amplify the noise—but they don’t build anything. Flies feast on what’s already rotting, attracted to the stench and decay. There’s no plan, no greater purpose, just a relentless desire to feed off the mess.
Imagine trying to convince a fly that honey is better than sh*t.
It’s a ridiculous conversation, isn’t it?
The fly just can’t understand.
It’s happy where it is, even if it’s in a place you wouldn’t want to be caught dead.
So, the bee doesn’t bother.
It knows that honey is worth the effort, and it spends its time gathering the good stuff, leaving the flies to their own sh*t.
Life is full of flies.
They show up in your work, your relationships, and sometimes even in your family. They might criticize your choices, make you question your path, or just drag you down with their negativity.
But here’s the thing: you don’t have to explain yourself to them. You don’t have to prove that your honey is worth more than their sh*t. They wouldn’t get it, anyway.
Instead, focus on what makes your life sweet.
Pour your energy into the things that matter to you, the things that make you feel alive.
Surround yourself with other bees, people who understand the value of what you’re creating, and who are working toward something meaningful, too.
You’ll find that life becomes a lot simpler when you stop trying to explain your choices to those who aren’t interested in understanding them.
Sometimes, it’s about walking away from the sh*t. It’s about knowing your worth and recognizing that not everyone will see it the way you do.
And that’s okay.
The bees and the flies live in the same world, but they experience it in completely different ways.
The bees will always find the flowers, and the flies will always find the sh*t.
So, be a bee.
Keep gathering your honey, even if the flies don’t understand.
You’re not living your life for them, anyway.
You’re living it for you, for the sweetness you know is out there, waiting to be found.??
???BK Biweekly Quote:? “Do not explain yourself to others. The ones who love you don’t need it, and the ones who don’t love you won’t believe it.”— Anonymous
??BK Tiny Tip:? When you find yourself trying to justify your choices, pause and ask, “Am I explaining to a bee or a fly?” If it’s a fly, save your breath and keep moving toward what truly matters to you. Remember:? You need to make honey…you don’t need to be pulled into a bunch of sh*t!
??BK Mind-blowing Fact:? Studies show that 80% of your happiness comes from just 20% of your relationships. This means that the majority of your fulfillment is influenced by a small, select group of people who truly understand and appreciate your values—just like bees who seek out the same flowers, while ignoring the flies buzzing elsewhere.
??BK Journaling Prompt:? Reflect on a time when you tried to convince someone of something important to you, but they just didn’t get it. How did that experience make you feel? What would it look like to let go of the need for their approval and focus on those who truly understand and support your path?
