Hello everyone, I'm honored to continue to do what I can to help those fighting Breast cancer and I'm writing this hoping you'll help me meet my goal as I've Volunteered to wear this very bright pink wig to bring attention to the Susan G. Komen "Big Wigs" fundraiser. For the past 10 years, I've been doing everything I can to help raise awareness and funds so that others don't have to feel the pain that I've had to feel 4X losing 4 dear friends to this horrible disease. I do this in honor of Diedra Auci, Karen Martinez, Jennifer Lyons and Carol Webber.
PLEASE click here to help me reach my goal! If all of my friends on there donated just $5! I would exceed my goal!!
If you want to watch the fun News segment wearing this wig I did recently to ask viewers of the newscasts to help me click here to view Special Report. When our weather reporter saw me putting on the wig to do the segment, she said "Rita! you're going to do the news wearing that wig? Wow, you're brave!" I responded, "Not nearly as BRAVE as all the women, friends and families that have gone through and are going through this devastating disease!" I've used my experience on the CBS Reality Show SURVIVOR Fiji to help this cause (that's why I'm holding up the photo of myself during one of the challenges on Survivor. It's symbolic of the REAL survivors of Breast Cancer and in fact, those very close to me know that a huge reason I participated on Survivor was because my 1st girlfriend that I lost to Breast Cancer, she was also my 1st childhood friend when I moved from Venezuela , Diedra Auci Bradshaw, BEGGED me to do SURVIVOR. I also did a 1950's pinup calendar (pictured above) in 2011 to help raise funds for Breast Cancer so wearing this pink wig on my newscast, I felt was a privilege and an honor. So PLEASE, be so kind as to help me by making a donation : HERE! PS-You'll receive one of my 1950's "Pin Up" vintage Calendar as a gift for your donation!
