Why am I attending TDXIndia19?

#DF19 just concluded and it was awesome (duh!). It’s been 5 years since I have been a part of the 24x7 awesomeness aka Salesforce Community, and making it to one of the Dreamforce editions have been on my bucket list since then. But then I topped up my list by adding #DF20 to it. Yes, I wanna be here again and again and again.

But then, depriving myself of such high octane Salesforce action for 365 days didn’t seem like me. So what next? I’d say what better than a flagship event organized by Salesforce in my home country - India.

Yes, TDXIndia19 is here guys and I’m gonna be there. And you should be too!

Salesforce Community – a very powerful ecosystem of anyone and everyone who adores Salesforce. You can be a Developer, Admin, QA, Business Analyst, CXO or a customer using Salesforce, you are an integral part of the Salesforce Community. 

It indeed is a feat of pride, happiness and not so surprise that India is one of the largest Salesforce communities in the world. Woah! that’s quite an incredible crowd of Trailblazers and aspiring Trailblazers. Salesforce has recognized this love and is bringing the “mini-Dreamforce” to India.

While I was awaiting the registrations to open, I started thinking should I really attend TDXIndia19? And, luckily (drumroll, please), I attended my first ever Dreamforce this year – #DF19 – and yes I was present in the same auditorium for the much-awaited Barack Obama keynote. My experience in DF19 has been phenomenal, amazing, awesome, splendid – and I can add endless adjectives. 

While I was still in the dreamland of Dreamforce, the registration links were out for TDXIndia19 and one of my friends asked me a million-dollar question – you are at DF19, do you think you will attend TDXIndia19? My answer, without thinking for a millisecond, was YES, why not? My friend wasn’t convinced with the answer and here are the logical points I mentioned: 

• Line of Speakers – yes, this matters the most! 
• Salesforce Guests – you get to meet the people behind Salesforce
• Learning, Learning, Learning – knowledge is present like Oxygen, consume it
• Same experience as DF19 – Salesforce is organizing ? 
• Cost Saving – comparing travel and stay for SFO and BLR, a difference of about INR 1.5 Lacs
• Networking – you get to meet like-minded people
• Job Opportunities – you will find a good amount of recruiters or candidates

And, my friend was then convinced to come and join me at TDXIndia19. What do you have to do to gain all the above-mentioned points? 

• Book your travel - Approx 2k-8k, Flight/Bus/Car depending on the city you are traveling from
• Book your stay - Approx 0-6k, Book a hotel/ share your Airbnb/ crash at a friend’s place
• Plan an Agenda for TDX19 – Yes, this is a must! The sessions list is out already and you must make a list of the sessions you want to attend
• Put on your Dancing Shoes – You don’t want to miss the Concert at all

And by just spending a maximum of INR 8000, you’ll get the experience of Dreamforce in India.
