1. The aluminum alloy material is light and soft.

2. Good strength. Pure aluminum has a tensile strength of approximately 80 MN/m2, which is one-fifth that of mild steel. For example, the material commonly used in aluminum alloy auto bodies is 6005A-T6, and its minimum tensile strength is 360 MN/m2, which can reach the corresponding strength value of low carbon steel.

One of the characteristics of aluminum alloys is that when exposed to air, a dense oxide film is formed on the surface, which prevents corrosion and therefore has good corrosion resistance. If the "alumina film treatment method" is applied to it, corrosion can be completely prevented.

4. Processing performance is good. The extrusion properties of railway vehicles are good, and the secondary machining and bending are also easier.

5. Easy to regenerate. Aluminum has a low melting point (660 °C) and is easy to regenerate. It is also pollution-free at the time of disposal, which is conducive to environmental protection and is in line with the sustainable development strategy.

Comprehensive consideration, aluminum alloy material is more suitable for the production of auto parts, and the cost performance is relatively high, so aluminum alloy die casting is widely used in the production of auto parts, making the aluminum alloy die casting industry continue to grow with the development of the automotive industry.
