Why AI? Why Now?

In the bustling bazaar of buzzwords, “AI” is everywhere right now. But what’s all the fuss about? ??

The past year has been an never stopping rollercoaster of new gadgets and AI advancements. Notably, OpenAI's launch of ChatGPT kickstarted a movement in Generative AI. For the first time, we had a chatbot that achieved human-like level of interactions and made conversations genuinely enjoyable.

What is GenAI?

While AI and machine learning aren’t novel concepts, a pivotal shift occurred with the release of the of the paper "Attention is all you need", pioneered by the brilliant minds at Google Brain. Building upon this, OpenAI birthed its Large Language Model ChatGPT, propelling us into a realm of generation and reasoning.

Why should I care?

• We are moving fast. The last year was all about technological advance, the coming years will center on business adaptation. The technology is ready, and the question now is how we put it to use to create business value. The potential is nearly endless.
• Similar to the introduction of email, the use of Large Language Models (LLM's like ChatGPT) have the potential to tackle everyone's work and private life in a profound way. To be ahead can provide you with a unique competitive advantage.

Three things to remember

• AI is here to stay.
• AI doesn't replace companies. Companies that use AI replace those that don't.
• GenAI is still a young technology and you already start seeing powerful business implementations, imagine what is yet to come.
