1 个月Great Post! I use Agile Maturity Assessments to design my coaching plans for squads and squads-of-squads. They help me navigate and prioritise my interventions. I 100 per cent agree with their use for continuous improvement. However, the fundamental flaw with Maturity Assessments is that they present a fragile optic for uneducated leaders. There is an assumption that squads will develop in a linear pattern. This is not so a team may be level 4 or 5 on one dimension yet 2 or 3 on another. So, this makes having a single resultant score difficult and frankly meaningless. The other factor is team membership. According to various surveys, team membership is only static on the average team?for about ten weeks. So when team members leave and join, the previous maturity level often alters, and the Squad goes back into storming.
