1. Promotes the health and prosperity of the society.
What wonderful gift it would be to bestow upon our coming generation a society that is bursting with health and prosperity! If people we live with, work with and share our lives with would start acknowledging health and wellness then the "society" that we build would be robust, flourishing and thriving. A society of healthy individuals with sound mental state of mind would engage in different community activities that would foster the bond of unity and brotherhood. This would, thus, instill integrity and high moral values into our future generation. Therefore, acknowledging health and wellness at an individual level would pay at community levels by laying a foundation of healthy, strong and vibrant society.
2. Boosts economic status.
Acknowledging health and wellness promotes individual healthiness-both physically and mentally. A person -healthy and hale would tend to take less number of leaves on account of ill-health. This would eventually boost his/her performance and overall performance of his/her organization. This helps them strengthen their financial structure and ultimately, would reinforce the economy of the nation. Thus, realizing the significance of health and wellness on an individual's life would allow the person, his/her family and the society they are a part of to learn effectively, produce efficiently and contribute productively to promote the health and economic stature of themselves, the society and the nation.

3. Promotes emotional intelligence.
As defined by WHO health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not just the mere absence of disease. And if If we look at the current situation around, a number of people, especially population in age-group of 18-50 can be seen grappling with issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, etc. Addressing the importance of mental health and working towards improving it would help promote the emotional intelligence among the people and enable them to deal with difficult situations competently.
4. Promotes sustainable practices.
As Nelson Mandela quotes, " Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world." Being educated and aware of one's health and wellness help develop habits and practices that are sustainable, eco-friendly and in the good-interest of the global population. Like for instance, a sustainable habit to keep the surroundings clean, importance on cutting down carbon-emission, developing more of green cover, recycle and reuse, turning vegetarian, avoiding plastics and putting in more emphasis on biodegradable alternatives. Thus, with sustainable practices we can save natural resources and economic resources alongside enriching our social resources.

Acknowledging health and wellness should be a ritual. It should be practiced day-in and day-out because consistence is the key! Constantly practicing health and wellness have a tremendous effect on our spiritual growth. It is because when we are in a state of our optimal health and wellbeing, our bodies destress, relax and release good amount of happy chemicals that help cleanse our aura. It leads to a state of inner peace and calmness that help generate positive energy around ourselves. This leads to spiritual upliftment, instills a sense of purpose and helps giving meaning to life. The more we advance in our spiritual growth, the better we are able to control our emotions and refine our approach towards different situations in life.
