My 1st Article on LI: Why 2 individuals are behaving differently in the same situation of COVID-19?
How information is building your perception & driving your outside experiences based on it?
Why are you passively scrolling the feed in search of more & more information?
Why is there a huge spike in psychological issues?
Of late, I have seen several scenarios/cases regarding various delusions people have about Aadityava/Oneness: life, suffering, awareness, inner balance (Reaching the state of 0), relationships, 'negativity', physical and non-physical reality. In this article, I will look to comprehensively consolidate 1 of the theme which is basic/core yet supreme, mostly as a single point of reference. This article will direct you with the first step towards your destination - the permanent unwavering peace. Also, this will raise a question Who am I? The emanation of such question is a testimonial to the fact that you are moved by scientific methodology (Gravity could not be discovered if Newton has not asked the question " Why apple falls downwards & not upwards")
Though it is a very indistinct question, it is something that many individuals seem to get immersed in thought – searching for the “Supreme truth”. For some individuals, this delusion just becomes a means to captivate in philosophical discussions, debates & spiritual dramatics thus defining themselves with 'Yogis/Gurus', while for some empiricist this question seems like a “need” to feel a sense of clarity about living & finding the supreme purpose/reality of this creation. Scientifically, the unprejudiced “observation/awareness” is the most valid methodology to discover the “truth”. In the present scenario of COVID, it is a hidden blessing to observe & realize self & get freedom from all the psychological sufferings.
Existence/life is “energy” in present, & this energy vacillate by virtue of the laws of physics - having 2 polarities – you can term this in any analogy you want to, but I like to term it as light and dark nature. Light & dark is referred here to categorize the 2 states & not for terming anything high or low. Terming anything relatively good or bad, beautiful or ugly, positive or negative, happiness or sadness, inside or outside world or any analogy in the aforementioned reference is just emanating from the narrow perception of your mind. The information stored in your brain is the sole deciding factor for you to see the 'outside' world; scientifically & in reality, it's just your inner perceived information which is reflecting outside & thus making different realization for you. So, the work has to be done inside i.e. inner-self & 'outside' reality will start shifting automatically. The proportion of shift in the outside world will depend upon the level of delusive layers you have removed inside. To set up this context with the present scenario of COVID, just observe how people are behaving/reacting differently in the same situation; one feels stable in this uncertainty while the other is not. Why is this happening? The fundamental reason is their perception which is based on information.
- Unstable: The person is constantly bombarding his mind (the conditioned brain) with the information overload regarding the COVID scenario. He has no inner clarity about the supreme truth of life & basic laws of physics regarding the momentum of energy/life. (Momentum = Mass * Velocity; I have termed mass as the volume of information while velocity as repetition of it at x intervals). Self-explanatory, he will experience the cascading effect of information from his surroundings because of the already established false preconceived notions in his brain neurotransmitters.
- Ignorant yet stable: This person is stable because is absolutely ignorant about the situation in the outside world. He is preoccupied with his stuff. Many of us find this path to remain mentally stable. But, this person is equivalent to the first one - Unstable or I would say he is more vulnerable to self than the first one. Correlate it with the theory of bubble/pressure cooker & you can easily realize the thing I am pointing to.
- Aware and stable: This is the case where a person can find ultimate peace amid any uncertainty. He understands the momentum of energy/life. His attitude will be of respecting/enjoying/expressing both polarities of our nature, without hang-ups, without hesitation, and without over-indulgence. He is fully aware of the situation outside & he is fully prepared to face/fight/flight. He understands that this situation of distress is the other polarity he has not experienced in past. He will experience the emotions by watching the people dying out of poverty, lack of medical facilities, disease but still he will be stable (at his ease) because he understands the concept of polarity, the laws of momentum, the depths of perception based on information, the waves in the river & the treble in the state of consciousness. He is well aware of the fact that this high wave is water itself that will merge into its own state after a fixed period of time. His action & inactions (an action itself) will be appropriate to the different scenarios in the same situation. Ultimately, these consequential actions & reactions will act as a testimonial to the fact that he is working on depths (r/t heights alone) aka Aadityava/Oneness/Consciousness - you can refer with any analogy the ultimate destination will remain one, i.e. You are the creator of this Universe.
There is no climax to this movement of life, it just keeps moving forever/eternally, simply because the life-energy is made up of polarities – so there will always be an abrasion & consequent inter-play between these polarities (within) thus letting the feeling of different emotions.
So, enlightenment is not about reaching some destination, rather it’s about understanding this core reality of life, & thus letting go of your internal conflict with this nature of life-energy that you are. Mere understanding will not set you free but you have to release the past momentum of 'negativity/false notions' by digging deep & removing the layers one by one. Slowly but surely, you will reach to the core self & find permanent unwavering peace & stability.
The more you sweat in peace, the less you bleed in war: This work on inner self has to be done when you are at peace so that you can take earmarking action when you are in a war.
