Why 12th graders can’t miss these scholarships

As this is crunch time for seniors applying to colleges, I see quite a few students who are still struggling with time management. Balancing coursework, job and other commitments plus college applications takes on a whole other level of responsibility. Already a couple seniors have even adjusted their college list and application deadlines because of the overwhelming time commitments.

A tool that I shared with a parent recently was a single-paged report to visualize the application deadlines through the fall semester for their senior. The next step I advise parents to take is adding these specific dates their family calendar. This will make it super easy to stay on track of their teen’s application plan.

Application deadlines are unforgiving . . . when your senior misses a deadline it can cost you scholarship dollars!
