WHO'S YOUR DADDY???

When it comes down to finding peace and purpose, knowing your identity is necessary. We all know of others (OR even ourselves) that seem to "have it all together" OR are a "complete mess".... in both scenarios the person can have major struggles with peace and satisfaction in life due to their lack of identity. One of the most destructive forces in our society is fatherlessness. This epidemic has created generations of people who are struggling to love or be loved... struggling to feel like they are "good enough" .... struggling to find purpose. Yet others form false realties and compensate for their pain by becoming angry, arrogant, prideful, abusive, detached emotionally and think that they are "OK" but obviously they are not. Ultimately what it comes down to is this, ALL humans are broken... ALL of us are ORPHANS, that is... until we become "children of God". When our forefathers ate the "fruit", their once "eternal life" given an expiration date. They became "dead on the inside". The Father (GOD), the SON (GOD), and the Holy Spirit (also GOD) knew that their creation would chose to turn away from them BUT they already had a plan to restore the relationship AND ETERNAL LIFE. Once we BEHOLD Christ Jesus, the physical revelation of His Father, we can then KNOW our Heavenly Father. Undoubtedly most of us have imperfect parents and some may have had wonderful parents- even so, our biological parents can not save us from sin or death. Jesus, the Father, and the Holy Spirit are ONE.. they are God.... No person can comprehend this with our natural understanding, yet we by faith KNOW it is true. Jesus dwelt in uncontainable Glory... (you can't contain the wind) with the Father and Holy Spirit- yet loved us so much that he left the Heavens and decended to earth to become "one" with us... to be born like us, raised by human parents, experience hardship, rejection, abuse, false accusation, etc in order to become a "faithful high priest" who understands our suffering AND REVEAL to us that the Father is KIND and PATIENT, and NEVER MISUSES HIS POWER.... Once we SEE Jesus, we KNOW that we can run to God the Father because Jesus made a way for us. We no longer need to fear God, nor do we need to fear death. We have an eternal purpose and hope, to know God and make him known. The bible says that we have joy in our suffering because we "look ahead" to the "joy set before" us. Once we know that we are loved, fear no longer has any power over us. "Perfect love casts out all fear." The question we must ask ourselves is this, "what am I afraid of?" Undoubtedly we can think of countless things, BUT KNOWING God will allow us to have "peace in the storm". Jesus said, "In this world you will suffer, but take heart I have overcome the world", and this is our hope... HE HAS OVERCOME THE WORLD. Remember this, when Jesus was asked to "reveal the father", His answer was this, "Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip?"... WOW... If you want to KNOW God, the PERFECT Father, then behold Jesus, and then you will know your true identity as a Child of God, and Heir to the Throne, The Bride of Christ.... and joy will be your portion.
