Who's your Catalyst?

When I joined Team Canada in handball, it was pretty challenging to me. I had just started university in the physical therapy program.

I had to put a lot of hours attending classes, studying, training and playing the games.

After 3 months, I met my coach and I told him I wanted to stop.

I remember how calm he was when I shared the news.

He asked me why I wanted to stop. I told him that I felt that trying to manage school and sports was too hard, that I could not do it. That my friends thought I was crazy, some people were telling me that it would never work.

After carefully listening to me he said: "Well, if you give it up today, you will miss out on probably the best experiences of your life. There will always be people criticizing, telling you that it won't work or that you're crazy. It's rather a matter of you believing that you can do it or not. You should not care about what others say. They'll always have something to say anyways. So, I see you at 6 for practice?"

And I replied: yes.

And that was the beginning of many years competing in many countries, developing my life, mental and physical skills, and changing my life in the most meaningful way.

That coach was my catalyst. He's the one who said the right words at the right time and gave me that little push of belief I needed to get started on this oh so amazing journey.

I feel that today, this is what I do with my clients. I help them consolidate their belief and take action on what they want to build. A coaching or consulting business with an appealing offer, clients coming in and a marketing strategy that pushes their best self forward.

Along the years, I've witnessed many people change their lives in the most meaningful way by daring to make that first step in the creation of their own business.

And all of that started with a conversation.
