Food and grocery delivery giant Swiggy is taking on its rival Zomato in the stock market. The company has filed updated draft papers with SEBI for a ?10,000-crore IPO, featuring a fresh issue of ?3,750 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) by key investors like Prosus and Accel.

• Rs 3,750 crore will be raised through a fresh issue of shares, while 18.52 crore shares will be offered via the OFS.
• Prosus is selling a stake worth over $500 million, while SoftBank is holding on to its shares.
• Swiggy’s IPO will be one of the biggest among new-age companies, trailing only Paytm's IPO in 2021.

?? BookMyShow CEO Summoned by EOW Amid Allegations of Black Market Ticket Sales

The Mumbai Police’s Economic Offences Wing (EOW) has summoned Ashish Hemrajani, CEO of BookMyShow's parent company Big Tree Entertainment, as part of an investigation into the black market sale of Coldplay concert tickets. Along with Hemrajani, the company’s technical head has also been summoned.

What We Know So Far:

• Tickets originally priced at ?2,500 for Coldplay's January 2025 concert are being resold for up to ?3 lakh.
• Advocate Amit Vyas filed a complaint, accusing BookMyShow of facilitating the black marketing of these tickets.
• The EOW has already identified several brokers involved in ticket scalping, and more individuals may be summoned as investigations continue.
