We are pleased to announce the launch of our Who’s talking now? series, where we introduce our colleagues. You can learn a lot of interesting facts about them, including their favourite hobbies, movies, foods, or even books.
We start with our General Manager, Gergely Benda , who admits he can eat endless amounts of pistachio ice cream, even in the freezing winter months.?
1. What's your favourite, binge-worthy book?
My absolute favourite writer is Jen? Rejt? – almost all his books are masterpieces, but if I had to pick one, it would be The Three Musketeers in Africa (A három test?r Afrikában). Other than that, I love The Stone Breaker (A k?t?r? ember) by Gusztáv Megyesi, as well as Gy?rgy Moldova's The Tattooed Cross (Tetovált kereszt). The latter one takes a really special place in my heart, because in the second grade we studied together with institutionalised kids for a whole year becoming a formative period of my life.
2. What is the movie that you know by heart?
I've seen Dead Poets Society and Cat City countless times, but I'm also happy to watch cartoons anywhere at any time. I was an animator for a while and wanted to do it as a job, this is where my love for animated movies is rooted.
3. What is your favourite TV series ever?
The Wire is one of my favourites. I loved it so much that sometimes I was awake until 2-3 AM watching it, and had to force myself to sleep to be able to work the next day. What I love the most in this story is that it kicks all the police-criminal-politician clichés to the curb, while it seems real all along. It’s a documentary, a feature film, a theatre performance and a social critique all in one. Narcos and Gomorrah are also among my favourites, these are great shows as well.

4. What is that one song you can play on repeat all day long?
My son and I have a new favourite Italian song, called Propaganda by Fabri Fibra, Colapesce and Dimartino.
5. Favourite concert experience that you will definitely tell your grandchildren about?
I'll never forget the Pink Floyd concert in 1990 – after the fall of the Berlin Wall –, where hundreds of thousands of people were together, enjoying music. It was an amazing experience, such as Ferenc Snétberger's Bach recital at the Premontre monastery church of Zsámbék.
6. What is the one food that you can never say no to?
I love every kind of sweets, but ice cream is the one I can eat anytime, even when I’m sick. My favourites are mixed flavours, like almond apricot or Gerbeaud Cake, but the one I try out everywhere is pistachio, that is definitely my test flavour.
7. Do you do any sports?
I do sports every day. My favourites are convict conditioning and bodyweight training, but I spend a lot of time on the water with catamaran boat as well.
