Do you ever feel like life throws challenges your way just to see how well you can juggle them? It's like the universe decided to test your circus skills, right? But what if I told you that the way you handle these curveballs could define your entire journey??
Recently I’ve been reading Coping in Good Times And Bad by Erica Frydenberg for an accountability group that I am part of and it got me thinking deeply about the idea of coping and how the people around us can directly affect our ability to cope.?
One of the key messages in the book is that coping is the spark that ignites resilience, which in turn fuels unshakeable fortitude. It's like an empowering domino effect, each piece knocking down barriers and ushering in growth.
Think about it - the way you see the world, your life experiences, and the uniqueness you bring to the table all play into how you view the business landscape. It can either be the wind beneath your wings or an anchor holding you back. As you navigate this journey, you'll encounter crossroads that could make or break your stride.
But success isn't a solo gig. It thrives in the soil of connections and community. Your journey transforms when you're joined by kindred spirits who understand your struggles. I call them the Core 4, and they're about to revolutionise your approach to life.
Imagine having a team by your side, each with a distinct role, forming a safety net of support:
Meet the Promoter: Ever had someone in your corner who believes in you more than you believe in yourself? The Promoter is your personal cheerleader, pushing you to reach for the stars. They tell everyone about what you do and make sure that you are mentioned in the right rooms.
Next up, the Butt Kicker: Big dreams are awesome, but action is what turns dreams into reality. The Butt Kicker keeps you accountable, making sure you're doing what it takes.
Let's not forget the Teacher: Whether it's a mentor or a community, the Teacher offers insights that guide your journey.?

Lastly, the Pit Crew: Just like a racecar driver's crew, you need a support system that's got your back. These are the folks who lift you up and provide emotional fuel, especially when the going gets tough.
In order to weather any storm we need these core 4 in our life to help us cope with whatever life throws our way.
Prioritising your Core 4 isn’t just about networking it’s about embracing your individual journey, tapping into the collective wisdom, and building the resilience and fortitude that lead to extraordinary accomplishments.
Who do you have in your support corner to help you develop resilience and fortitude?
