Who's Got Your Back? - The importance of finding your people...
Who has your back?
This week, one of our first ever members, maths tutor Helen Osmond posted how wonderful it feels to be noticed and acknowledged by colleagues. Ever the 'Friends' fan, Helen shared that the simple question 'How You Doin'?' from other members of Qualified Tutor made her feel so much better during a tough time.
When the going gets tough in your tutoring life, who do you turn to for reassurance??
When you struggle to achieve a work/life balance, who is there to help you recalibrate??
When you forget to look after yourself, who reminds you to rest?
The Qualified Tutor community is designed to do just that.?
Whether it's random Whatsapp chats on a Sunday morning or intensive reflection sessions in one of our Wednesday group coaching sessions, we exist to support each other.?
The power of the collective has the strength to build us each up as individuals and as a community. We, in turn, strive to build up and maintain our community as the force for good we each need to be.
Our mission is to raise standards in tutoring by ensuring that every tutor worldwide is safe, skilled and supported through training, certification, community and events.?
If you want to apply to become a Qualified Tutor member, book in an interview here https://calendly.com/qualified-tutor/apply-to-become-a-qualified-tutor-member.
Warmest wishes,
Julia

1 年What a great post! For me, I turn to my Mum Dinah when I am spiralling or need comfort (plus for strategy when I am helping on an event & need her mind!), my friend Elaine when it's time to discuss all things brain-breaking and compassionate logical support, and many others who I am lucky enough to have in my life to support me, including the incredible team at QT in fact!
