Who's Got Your Back?

Who's Got Your Back?

Heavy Is The Crown

Last Friday, I sat down with two incredible leaders, C-level powerhouses, each navigating challenges that would make most people’s heads spin. And while their situations were different, the emotional weight they carried was the same.

One is on the brink of his next big move. He’s the kind of leader anyone would be lucky to work under—values-driven, visionary, and genuinely caring. He’s in that space between what was and what could be; excited but nervous, driven but cautious, balancing his desire to land in the right place with his responsibilities to his family. I was grateful to be there for him, to simply hold space as he navigated his next steps. Sometimes, that’s all we need—someone who can just be present.

The other is neck-deep in uncertainty. His industry is being rocked by the latest executive orders from Washington, sending shockwaves through his team and the company’s bottom line. He’s frustrated, anxious, and exhausted by the constant upheaval. Before we met, he texted me, “I’m astounded at how crazy things are right now. I could use a dose of Alessandra.” That message was a reminder of how vital it is for leaders—especially those who are expected to be strong for everyone else—to have someone they trust to lean on.

The Unexpected Question

But then, something unexpected happened. This powerhouse of a leader, who was wrestling with so much, paused and asked me... ?? keep on reading here.

About Dr. Alessandra Wall,

Worldwide, smart, ambitious, women in leadership work three times as hard for a fraction of the impact and influence they deserve.

Excellence-driven, they show up fully for everyone, all the time, and discover that high-level success can come at too high a cost if you don't have the right support or approach.

I've made it my mission to help women in powerful leaders show up with authority, own their value, leverage their influence, and make a meaningful impact without sacrificing everything to the altar of success.

I lead this work through Noteworthy, an exclusive executive coaching and consulting firm that advances senior executive women and their allies in male-dominated industries and supports companies that seek to retain, elevate, and attract them.

This work has transformed the lives of hundreds of executive women in the US and Europe and changed workplaces for the better at scores of companies ranging in size from agile start-up to Fortune 100.
