Who’s cleaning the garbage out of the ocean and stopping polluters?

Every minute, disgusting trash is being thrown into the sea.

We shouldn't take clean water for granted. Something must be done.

Moving to a new planet isn't the best way to solve the Earths pollution problem.

Would we do the same thing to dirty up the new virgin landscape?

Changing our daily habits, is the only solution.

There is so much trash in the ocean now that plastic will outnumber fish soon.

If you eat fish, you're most likely ingesting plastic.

Most of the trash is plastic bags and bottles.

The worst of it, is toxic nuclear pollution illegally dumped.

You will find just about anything in the water, like tires, shoes, and even q-tips.

If you look around, people all over the world are trying to help clean the ocean.

People like Ken Welch with Ocean Guardian.

One day he was surfing with his brother in Hawaii, and they came across a large amount of floating trash.

They decided then and there, they would become protectors of the Ocean.

They started by selling t-shirts to raise awareness.

It snowballed to what it is today, a worldwide recognized non-profit organization, with an international legal team, and a dedicated ship for missions.

They're already doing big things to save, protect life and change laws.

We can all help save the Ocean, by changing our daily habits.

We can switch to using a reusable Nalgene water bottle, instead of buying water in disposable plastic bottles. If water quality is an issue, invest in a good water filter for your home or you can get a water bottle that has one already built in.

Use reusable grocery sacks, instead of the plastic grocery store kind.

If you eat out, bring your own reusable containers to bring home your leftovers.

For fast food, bring a reusable set of forks, spoons and knives instead of using the plastic disposable kind. Don't use plastic straws.

Talk to your local restaurants about offering biodegradable container options.

Recycle anything you can.

I think most of us are conscious of our daily bad habits, but don’t want to admit it.

It’s easy to “throw it away” without thinking much about it where it goes after it leaves our hands.

But, is there really such thing as "away"?

It has to go somewhere. The less, the best.
