Who’s in Charge? When it comes to EV Battery Testing… We are!

While most know CAPE – The Center for Advanced Product Evaluation – as the premier test house for commercial, military, and off-highway vehicles and litigation defense, we’ve got another CAPE-ability that you need to know.

CAPE is one of the only test facilities in North America which performs the ECE R 100 Mechanical Shock Testing for EV batteries, which is required for Europe and other countries around the world because specific safety protocols must be implemented.?

We conduct the tests on our Messering Deceleration Sled, while allowing different battery orientations through flexible mounting.? And we will accomplish all of your testing in one day, thanks to our quick setup process.? CAPE can also accommodate 3rd party homologation witness testing to suit your needs.

When performing the ECE R 100 Mechanical Shock Test, we conform to SAE J211-1 for measurement of the sled accelerometer and energy module accelerometer channels.? And we do it using one data acquisition system.

If you’re ready to take “charge” of your EV Battery testing with the industry leader – let’s talk. Reach out or contact:
