Who's Actually "Wrong"?
Albert Pujols Career Stats:
ALBERT PUJOLS in 2006 (one of his best offensive seasons where he led the Cardinals to a World Series victory over Detroit):
Albert Pujols is certainly top 20 in the history of the MLB. But what if Albert in his 2006 prime never swung the bat? A force that intimidated even top pitchers, but Albert just stood in the batters box and refused to use his rare combination of power, timing and ability to adjust. Then he would've been fired and fans never would've sacrificed their time and hard earned money to watch the Cards play. Me and my dad would not have attended game 4 of the 2006 World Series nor would I have ever dreamt of being a Saint Louis Cardinal as a kid. All the hope and good Albert's career and off the field work have generated would not exist.
The above scenario where Albert Pujols became a statue is of course silly. But I use that analogy to explain how I view many intelligent people in America today. Time and time again during my 2 year career as a content creator I've been reminded that the majority of the world is reasonable and wants to help each other. The Andrew Tates, Putins, Doug McMillon's (Walmart's CEO), etc. are the exception. We just hear from them more because they are heartless, selfish and therefore willing to talk even if no one agrees.
I would argue my mom is far more intelligent and kinder than many powerful politicians today who just run their mouths and lie all over the news. My mom is the perfect example of a happy, talented and smart middle ground person. She is kind, but no pushover. Mom doesn't worry about things she can't control, but never uses that cliché as an excuse to avoid helping others. So why don't people like my mom speak their ideas on social media with the same intensity, lack of concern for criticism and persistence as Andrew Tate? More importantly, why do some in the middle ground isolate or criticize me for finally getting angry enough to blast my opinions in dramatic fashion all over social media? That is what most of us agree needs done: That middle ground to start talking.
If I could be calm, respectful and still build my platform --> I would!
If I could use logic to explain mental health --> I would. But I must appeal to emotions with dramatics ELSE my video will get clicked off in favor of the Tate brothers.
I'll close with another personal experience which further solidified my decision to stay out of my comfort zone and not give up (believe it or not. I am stable. I feel criticism. Wish to fit in like all humans. Then ACTIVELY choose behavior that is uncomfortable at times for a higher/long term goal).

I sat down at a Blackjack table in Ameristar Casino - Saint Charles in early 2022 in hopes to talk my way into a job. A man from the Saint Louis area who seemed to be a successful financial advisor sat down by me. He was in his late 30s and discussed how his mindset has changed since his 20s due to time, having kids and Covid. He was also interested in history so we discussed movements and people that shaped the world, wars, etc. Our conversation ended with the agreement that the "good" are still the overwhelming majority. But most are too scared to speak out or feel they have too much to lose.
Those women then complain "there are no good guys left" then end up alone because they don't want to be called a "bimbo", "stupid ass hoe", etc. as Tate refers to them.
Men are far from perfect and worry unjustly too but I would argue the "modern woman" is more likely to on average. Those women tend to look for problems in every man who gives them attention. Maybe not all men are "pigs" and he may just think you're cute or heard good things about you?
I feel SOME chess women try to bucket all men in the sexist category of those who belittled them when they were young girls. It helps no one and comes off as revenge seeking whether they mean to appear that way or not. Plus, people can change.
Though I grew up fairly conservative I would prefer intelligent people overdramatize, create too much content, etc. than allow people with bad/purely selfish ideas to have all the attention.
There are some cases where turning the other cheek is more dangerous than fighting and risking a loss. Just like the start of this article where I mentioned 2006 Albert. Even Albert struck out and received occasional boos. But how valuable would he have been if he refused to swing the bat in a World Series?
That's how I view most who criticize or isolate someone like me. You are capable like Albert? A much better speaker than me? My singing voice sucks compared to yours? WHO CARES?! You are doing nothing.
You're intelligent, talented and have a decent heart but would prefer to not be criticized, misunderstood or risk embarrassment/strike out? Me too!
Pick your poison. I'm drinking mine!
