So, I have launched a GoFundMe fundraiser today, in the hope of getting the backing I initially need, to launch Remote Highway Media as a business. I want to offer the larger contributors, some really special incentives.
At 67 years old, with a life in the music and broadcast media industries, I cannot get a job for love or money, seemingly because of #ageism, so the only way I can prove to them what they have missed, is to make my own business MEGA successful and to do that, I need a little support.
Remote Highway is in three sections, music composition and song catalogue, podcast production and audio productions aimed at national and global radio broadcasts. (I am currently a registered supplier for the BBC). I would also like to add a visual editing suite to my already up and running audio studio.
As a songwriter with over 50 years experience, global publishing deals and 'named' credits on songs, I have a good track record. As well as writing on my own, I also work with some amazing co-writers who have also have some impressive credits. The catalogue expands every week!
GoFundMe staggers the fundraising campaign, so although I am seeking to raise ￡50,000, it starts with an initial ￡5000 for the first stage, and I am hoping some of my wealthier friends and names may hit that initial target in a single donation.
I know these are hard times for so many, but after over 100 job rejection letters, I REALLY want to show these HRs and employers just how wrong they were! Please help me do that.

Let this old fellow do what he really enjoys for the rest of his life and not have to try and survive on a UK state pension of just under ￡900 a month. You never know, it just may turn out to be the next multi-million pound media business and you can feel a part of it's success!
