Traditional bread or Persian bread and also locally called Khubez tanoor is commonly consumed in GCC especially in the Kingdom of Bahrain. A single-layered flat leavened, baked in a traditional clay oven, and spread out on a hot flat griddle. It is similar to the Iranian bread taftoon and such bread is prepared by mixing flour, salt, water, and yeast into a dough and fermented for a short period. The involved workers are foreign nationals with minimal H&S training and lower education standards. The work environment of such works is really unsafe and they are at a high risk as they work at a high-temperature place using popular ovens. The daily long work hours exposing to flour can cause an occupational asthma sensitization when workers are exposed to an allergen or some other substance recognized as foreign by the body's immune system such as flour, this can lead to the process of sensitization. The primitive work methods which rely on physical efforts creating significant impacts due to manual handling and repetitive work as Working in an awkward position or lifting incorrectly such as carrying and transporting flour bags/sacks and kerosene barrels over a period of time can cause what is known as Cumulative Trauma Disorders(CTD). In terms of accommodation, it looks a bit primitive. In some cases, the accommodation is located at the same building where the ovens are operated. The work methods can automatically be re-organized similar to other countries where an automatic machine can be provided and used instead of relying on human physical efforts.?

No fire prevention, protection, and fighting system, no fire certificate

No Emergency lights, doors, No first aid kit.

No training, No PPE, Improper storage of fuel such kerosene barrels,??

No proper and certified LEV

Regular cleaning for the ovens, preventive maintenance program of fuel system pipelines
