The Book Review About WHOLENESS "Winning In Life From The Inside Out"
Tour`e Roberts created an powerful book that will challenge us about our wholeness. "WHOLENESS -Winning In Life From The Inside Out" draws an empowering picture to let us knows that pursuing inner wholeness leads to lifelong flourishing in relationships, business, and family. Reflecting on his years of experiences pastoring one of the most influential Churches in the Country. Tour`e Roberts teaches the readers about how having the thriving outside life we all desire comes from having a rich inner life we must gain knowledge to cultivate. Tour`e's book "WHOLENESS" is a play by play manual that brings a sermonic messages for the readers about the key to winning in life is learning how to identify and overcome common obstacles that keep us on the sidelines of our potential. We shouldn't settle for less than what is available to us on life's journey. We need to focus on the immeasurable existence that only becoming whole can provide. Our insides determining our external.
Bishop T.D. Jakes mentioned not one of us is exempt from the residuals that certain memories and mismanagement have left deep inside the human soul. T.D. Jakes wants the readers through his son-in-law. Tour`e powerful penned message, that no amount spent on that which surrounds them will deliver them from what mars that which is within them. This powerful anointed messenger is definitely the drum major who have the courage to beat the drum that directed us to the place where we can finally hear the beat that transfers us from the commonplace to the miraculous. Wholeness is the inner-life of those of us who march through life with half smiles and fully broken hearts to the dissonant beat of real regrets and mayhem that are the focus in Tour`e mindset. Tour`e is committed to lead into a place of harmony that individuals never thought they could successfully attain. I saw this book "Wholeness" at Barnes & Nobles last week and it spoken to me from the book cover. As I started to read the first chapter I decided to lead a Mental Health Group for my clients at Metropolitan Hospital in NYC as a Peer Specialist. I lead the group based on the first chapter, "Things We Tell Ourselves That Keeps Us From Wholeness." Many of my clients feel hopeless and God lead me to start a Group about Wholeness in the purpose to help them with their treatment plan for recovery. Wholeness is the highest and healthiest version of a person. Wholeness oftens challenge us to change to believe in the impossible, and to go beyond our comfort zone to become a greater person. Tour`e created an image about Wholeness from his own experiences to show us through our journey of transformation (Change) if he can do it, then we can do it as well. Wholeness going to require us to dig deep. We must be willing to visit places within our inner soul we may never have been. Also to enter rooms in our heart we've been in fear to go into, but we shouldn't worry. The power of Wholeness is going to guide us, gives us comfort, encourage us and cheer us on. Wholeness taught me to never overestimate myself , prioritize my inner over my outer and be proactive, not passive, when pursuing wholeness.
Wholeness in pursuit is a journey that lasts a lifetime. There will be seasons when we experience such significant breakthroughs that we might think. It can't get any better than this. Although in reality, for every mountain top that we reach there is a new mountain yet to climb. That mountain is taller steeper and more difficult to navigate. With Christ in our lives, we don't need to worry. Every step by step, that we gain knowledge on the last mountain prepares us to conquer the next one. The process of becoming whole also requires all of our life experiences the good and the bad. Tour'e wants us to know that all of our experiences represents raw material for creating something wonderful out of our brokeness. The process of wholeness reminds me of a potter that masters in shaping in the form of a priced creation. The potter is creating the movement that enables Him to alter, define, and refine the shape of the vessel God is creating. We as Christians are require a fair amount of movement as wholeness molds us into shape. Life brings a myriad of experiences that some are joyful and others are painful. Wholeness uses both in fact needs both to create a master-piece of us. I recommend this book as a require reading for those individuals that wants to experiences changes in their lives with the process of Wholeness. This book personally change my life and gave me a better understanding about Wholeness.
