Who will you ride for The NWC?

The very first ride was dedicated to Nicola and the event was called for several years Nicola Werner Challenge… the event grew and time came to think of more people who have or had to live with cancer.?

That led to two big changes, we introduced the bike plate with the purpose to dedicate our activity to someone who suffers and we changed the name to The NWC.

Sometimes I get messages that people haven't registered yet, because they are thinking about who they ride for.?

With the support of Medidata Solutions we can this year again this important personal element of the NWC1

Last year I rode for my friend Ralf who passed away due to cancer, this year I thought I won’t know a close person…?

Which was a total mistake: two weeks ago a close friend called to reveal that his 25 year old daughter has cancer, then I spoke again with another friend who’s daughter is also around 25 years old and who has skin cancer; then a message reached me from a young father whose wife has brain cancer…?

I will ride for all of them on my three NWCs this year and I will be even more grateful for “love the music that plays within you” on the NWC days.
