Who you are in Love is Who You Are..!

A year ago today, I turned 60. I had a gathering to celebrate six decades, which finished with being commissioned a Master of Purpose. For my 61st birthday, I want to share an excerpt from my acceptance speech... maybe it will inspire you to count your lessons and blessings.

I have shared with some people this adage that, “Who you are in Love is Who You Are, who you are in fear is who you are not. What is false was always false and what is True is always true.” You are in Love Here. We always are, or Love is not what we say and profess it to be.

I am not talking about twinkling Love... but Love as a Presence and a Power.

Here is the best of all I have learned in almost 60 years...

#1 Love Is Here.

If it is what we say, omnipotent, omnipresent... infinite, eternal... everywhere all the time, it has to be Here, Now, where you are as who and what you are..!

With this, it is only a matter of letting it in, dropping our judgment, defenses and letting go of faith in fear.

#2 Love Is Sufficient.

In Kahlil Gibran’s book “The Prophet” he writes “Love is sufficient unto Love.”

The Beatles had it right when they sang “All we need is Love.”

We need only to learn to allow the sufficiency of Love to fill and fulfill us.

#3 Love Is Working.

The organism can be trained to see this in the most horrific of imaginings and the hell made in the human mind and circumstances.

Love is doing the Work of Love... Love does the Work that only Love can do... and Love does only the Work of Love.

#4 Love Is Trusting Love.

This is to say:

• Trusting the the previous three...
• Love Is Here
• Love Is Sufficient
• Love Is Working, whether I can see it or not.

The lights are burning, our home houses us, even as gravity is pulling our ass down... and there is oxygen for us to breath.

We need only learn to trust love over fear, rather than fear over love.

#5 Love Is The Way.

There are many paths, One Way. The Way is Love.

In a path of purpose, as we give our Gifts, live our Purpose and create the Vision we are given of a better self and world... The Way of Love is revealed and reveals “who you are in Love, is who you Are..!

#6 Love is the Altar...

When we are able to see things with love, they are altered. They take on new dimensions, the textures change.

Who we are in Love is who we are. Who we are in fear is who we are not. What’s false was always false. The truth is always true.

These are not mere concepts nor good, positive thoughts for me. They are a power to keep learning from and live into. As the clock ticks in the 4th Quarter of life for me, I am still learning to live in The Context of Love As Here. It becomes not only more and more powerful, it is more important and brings new clarity with the setting of each sun and sunrise of each new day. I am inspired about what can be accomplished in the time remaining and the chance to live with maybe a thimbleful of this wisdom. Yet, I am not fooled. There is more in the rear view mirror for me than the windshield. I will be up early tomorrow to greet the new day on purpose.

As I remember, Love Is Here... I rest in Peace at this moment. Then I peddle. I've still got a lot of shit I want to do.
