As a developer managing user logins and Identity Access Management (IAM), one band rattles around my forty-something head...

When users log in to your site... I know who IAM, but Who Are You?

My Generation has witnessed the birth of personal computers, the Endless Wire of the Internet and rise of social networks. It's Hard for many developers, it's just Another Tricky Day to manage the many Phases and stages of authentication through this global network of Wire & Glass windows.

Complicated issues, including needing to Join Together both Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde into one new identity, called Tommy! Having to maintain code, which would work Anyway, Anyhow, Anywhere was messy back Then and Now, unless you have today's cool tools. Always trying to Substitute so many permissions, and other session Odds & Sods into the authentication pipeline, which our applications required.

Can you protect those Pictures of Lily from Hooligans? A security breach may be such A Quick One, by the time we notice Who's Missing, it may become A Legal Matter. When websites can't actually See Me, Feel Me, or know I'm One of their real users. Apps can't run on trust. I need to re-authenticate, Anytime You Want Me to.
