Be who you are...and be that well. ~ St. Francis
That leads me to.....Who am I?
Whom Shall I become?
Isn't that lifes little mystery that we chase around day and night? Contemplating....always contemplating.
Striving for more ...but what is more?
In order to live a life on purpose it takes vision and that vision needs a plan. Afterall without a plan.... It's just a well thought out wish. So whats the plan? Is it the who or the do that leads us??!!
To do anything well requires motive..... and what motive is large enough for your life??? What drives you when the vision becomes hard, doesnt go as expected and becomes impossible? What pushes you beyond yourself?
Who am I - What defines me? The awards and accomplishments? The title or possition? Or the person whom stands out for the way they take care of others? Who goes above and beyond for those they are in charge of and those they service? In your own work and in your own home....Who do they say you are?
We live in a world that is very divided. In a world where people are trying to belong to something....Anything sometimes. Choices are not made for the personal vision over ones life but for approval. There is a lot of speaking but very little listening causing a lot of division. What is it that connects all of us? What makes a family, a business, a country STORNG?
It certainly isn't by having the same views on everything. Yet the personal point of view seems to be disintegrating everything right before our very own eyes.
We are all fighting for something....we all have a voice worthy to be heard..... We all matter a great deal, But what is it that allows us to feel, think and respond freely without destruction? What is it that connects us?
What is the common Goal?
What is BIG ENOUGH TO LIVE MY WHOLE ENTIRE LIFE FOR?
To be continued.

4 年Deep, contemplative post for this early in the morning. It reminds me of an old contemporary Christian song, "Shake Me To Wake Me." Thank you for the wake up call. It is time to reflect, regroup, if necessary, and forge ahead with full knowledge of our mission (the vision that drives us). Have a Great Day!
