Who Are You?

I believe we all ask this question of ourselves at some point in our lives - who are you?. Some of us may ask this quite often, and others may seek to answer it themselves. But who else can tell the truth of a thing but its creator??
We are not what we do, what we have done, what we have experienced, or who others say we are. We are who God created each of us to be. We seek answers about our identity through?tracing our roots, identifying traits and aligning with culture, but somehow we forget to trace it all the way through. We also end up embracing?what is not true, because we have not filtered out the lies, the demonic and the mechanics?of men. Biased and broken views will always give faulty clues.?
The mystery of our identity is hidden in the Word and heart of God. Though?we may choose to be and see ourselves otherwise, it does not change our truth or how God will measure our fruit. To know our truth, we?have to go back to the source and the starting root. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. And on the sixth day of creation, God made man in His own image and after His?likeness. Our truth is found in His truth.
I pray we will seek to understand our truth through His eyes and perfect design.?
Shalom!
