Who Are We, Really?

I am very excited to write this one!

I was sitting in bed, drinking my Starbucks vanilla latte, reading Limitless Mind by Russell Targ when the thought came over me of how powerful we actually are. I threw the book down, opened my laptop and here we are.

So. Limits. Some or many of you may argue that this is a Universe with fixed laws. I, on the other hand, beg to differ. I think that this Universe is completely moldable. It is a flux, in flow at all times, ever changing. And with this, comes the concept as above so below. If the macro is unlimited, the micro may just be as well.

I believe, one of the only blocks to a more "limitless" life is trauma. Once your traumas are healed, you can travel anywhere. And by travel I mean mind travel. I subscribe to the concept of non locality and that we are a non-local substance, possibly gas or ether, who is immersed in our body for this life on Earth. I have meditated and received information that was beyond my "knowing". I have also used my consciousness to travel to different times and places in this world and others. I really don't care how crazy it sounds because all it is... is my imagination. Who's to say imagination is less real than this life?

To me, imagination is the same space as where this limitless concept derives. In this fluid, shimmering field that I envision, we can touch memories, ideas, dreams, other beings etc from the past, present and future. It's what some may call the Akashic Realm.

Anyway...with mind traveling, once your trauma is healed and you can relax into a more grounded perspective, you can change the laws of nature or physics. Nothing is fixed, contrary to very popular belief. Just like the greats have invented new things that were once thought impossible, or never really thought of before at all, we can do the same. Each and every one of us. It is not special. It is a gift from love.

The movie Interstellar touched on this and I don't even think they realized it. When they said love traveled dimensions.

"Love is the one thing we're capable of perceiving that transcends dimensions of time and space."

We then find out later in the movie [SPOILER ALERT] that that love was the hand that reached inside the spaceship and tried to touch Anne Hathaway's character. That love, was our future selves. And that is kind of what I am about to touch on.

So...once our fear and doubts are let go of, out of deep trust and surrender, we can focus our awareness on what we want. With no background noise or interference. And if what we want comes from a pure place in our heart, and for our highest good and evolution, it will materialize. The universe will conspire to make it happen. No questions asked.

This makes me think there is definitely something on the other side, guiding the process. Maybe it is our future selves? And to take it one step further than Interstellar... maybe they have limited minds too? I dare to say, that maybe, the only one who can overcome all our multidimensional and multirealital limitations is our present self. That is who is more powerful. Even beyond our future self. All the sages have hinted at this. In the present is where we can make the most change. Especially, if time is not a concept in that reality, the only thing that is "real" is the present moment.

That is why (you know I love word play) present not only means in this point in time. It means gift. It means being in charge. It means to bring before the public (as if we are in some type of play). It means to bring to ones attention. It means to aim or direct in a certain direction.

I think we can take the hint that these are all the things we can do with our present conscious awareness to truly become limitless.

And then part of me says, well there is no way that even if you are healed, and you say "elephant", an elephant is going to appear in your room, even if it is for your highest good! Well...maybe the future me believes the same thing because she is limited. And the only way to make that happen is to remove all limitations and believe it, in the present, with every fiber of my being. If I could master that, I probably wouldn't be writing this article right now, I would be flying to Bali to play with elephants.

There were many tales in our past history about things materializing out of thin air. Or turning water into wine and so on. Maybe these things are more in our reach than we believe.

To me, when I ask the question who are we really, it comes down to a simple statement. Experiencing and evolving micro forms of the macro universe. Otherwise called: love. And love is the most powerful force there is.
