For a while, this feature was almost useless, considering the only information we received was the profile name. So, if you were applying for a job and the hiring manager viewed your profile but made no effort to contact you, it's almost like a slap in the face.
However, many users say these viewer notifications have helped them make thousands of connections on the platform.
So, it seems like this feature is 50/50 when it comes to user feedback, but that may change with LinkedIn's newest addition.
They have added more details to their "Interesting Viewers" section, showing you more helpful information such as how this person can affect your job, if they are in your niche, or if they are in your industry.
