Who should come first, Batman or Robin?

If you know anything about comic book history, the answer is obvious—Batman. He was introduced first, with Robin following as his sidekick. But what if someone came along and not only removed Batman from the narrative but also diminished his role compared to his peer?
I recently attended a virtual healthcare conference where the main topic was blood conservation. The screen was filled with medical degrees and an overwhelming wealth of knowledge in medicine, surgery, and innovation—enough to top off an already overflowing gas tank.
Yet, as I listened, one question kept lingering in my mind:
When it comes to women’s health, how do we leap over the importance of anemia awareness and land directly on heart disease and breast cancer?
Even AI struggles with this.
A simple review of the data raises an obvious question: Why is anemia so underrecognized compared to its more widely discussed counterparts? Perhaps it’s because anemia isn’t seen as mentally challenging or financially lucrative enough to warrant the same level of attention.
I don’t have all the answers. But one thing remains certain—when it comes to women’s health, there’s always a common denominator, and somehow, women are the ones left balancing the equation.
A New Lens on Anemia Awareness
Our goal with this newsletter, as well as our posts, is to change the way we view anemia’s impact on women. The traditional pattern of thinking is outdated—especially in the era of social media, algorithms, and AI.
So let’s forge unorthodox partnerships and reach audiences who may have never recognized or understood that anemia is often the first warning sign of underlying health conditions across all diseases. By helping shift this perspective, we don’t just support our initiative—we take an active role in reversing the long-established neglect of anemia in women’s health.
Beyond Awareness: The Need for Action
We hope our initiative will, at the very least, change the way we calculate the significance of anemia in women’s health globally. Our work may not reflect the major figures reported by large corporations, but it was never about the numbers—it has always been about the message.
An important message travels far—often further than money alone can take it.
But to truly make an impact, awareness must turn into action. Conversations must lead to change. And together, we can ensure that anemia in women's health is no longer overlooked.
Elevating your brand with EFFECTIVE marketing strategies… CLEAR messaging… and SMART business habits WITHOUT the overwhelm.
