Who moved my cheese? (A reflection paper)

Who moved my cheese? (A reflection paper)

What if you know what you want, you know what you need and you know how to get it but you haven’t got it yet because of the road and the process that you’re going through would make you think twice and ask yourself if you’re doing the right thing or if you’re on the right track?!? It’s hard, RIGHT?! It’s like you can see the end of the tunnel but everything in between is clouded by darkness.

Life is like a?labyrinth?indeed, you should know how to get to the other end. It may take sometime to know if your going to the right directions. For the most part, you’ll be confused and at some point you’ll reach a dead end. Sometimes, it’s like a never ending travel to a pitch black tunnel. You may reach a certain pedestal, that would elevate you from where you are standing at. You would have a clear overview of the labyrinth and have a clearer view of the path that you’ll have to through. It’s crazy. At that point, you may think that you already know where you’re going, and you know what you’re doing. But you’ll be frustrated to know that you met?Mr. Dead End?at the road where you thought was right way. And you’ll think again, if it’s the right path. Your brain tells you that it is, but your heart tells you that it isn’t. If that’s the case, who would you follow?! The brain that’s always thinking, or the heart that never stop beating?!

With our everyday?journey?on this maze called life. We should not forget to pay some attention to Ms. little things or Mr. little changes because sometimes they’re the ones that would give us clues on which is the right way to go. Sometimes they become this tiny guiding light. Sometimes they tell you which is a one-way or 2-way road or which are the roads that lead to dead ends. And sometimes they’re the very key that would lead us to the door of success. It might get scary thinking about the unknown but we have to realize that if we do nothing, we’ll achieve nothing. There is nothing wrong fearing change but we should slowly overcome this fear and not let it cloud our minds with doubts. The only constant in life is change. It’s not going to be easy, most especially if you’ve become comfortable staying inside your?bubble.

We have to realize that we are not meant to live in a?bubble.

If we get stuck at some point, we should stop, think. We then have to ask ourselves,?“Who moved my cheese?”?… then keep going and chase that cheese again. Don’t be comfortable at getting stuck at your old routine. Change will always come and for most of the time, it doesn’t come right away. You have to work your way through it. It’s not going to be easy. You have to be patient. You have to burst that?bubble?so you can walk freely. However, if you are working hard to achieve that change you are waiting for, might as well banked on positive thoughts and positive energy. Why? because you reap what you sow. Don’t be a pessimist. We can’t just always rely on other people to help us. We have to help ourselves. At one point, these people carrying your burden would have to drop your load to carry more of their own that will benefit them and help them grow as an individual. I personally am still working on improving myself. I am slowly bursting this?bubble. It’s okay if our progress is slow as long as we keep moving and working hard to reach our goal. It’s okay as long as we don’t exploit other people for personal gain. It’s okay not to be okay at one point. If we get tired, it is okay, after all, we are human beings. Stop and rest if you must, but don’t quit. Keep moving. Let’s enjoy change and always be ready in finding that cheese because they will keep moving the?cheese.

Don’t be like?Hem.

Let’s all be like?Haw.
