Who Knew It Could Be So Ruddy Hard To Buy A New Car!
Once again, I am finding it truly tricky to buy a new car!! Years ago, when I worked for Hartwell, I'd have been hung, drawn and quartered by #YvonneCubbage, #KevinGodfrey or #DavidNewman if I'd let a potential customer walk through the dealership without talking to them. But today I am buying and I find I can swan around a showroom, even sit in cars, and escape from the premises without any contact. After ten glorious years of Evoques, I am pondering reverting to my sporty self and going for a 718 or 4 Series but, good grief, it is proving a challenge. Ideas welcome ...

5 年Alfa Guilia. Veloce with red leather seats or go the whole hog and the Quadrifolio. Anything else on your list wouldn't see which way it went AND it would or beat all in the fun-to-drive stakes...and you can seat 4 when absolutely necessary. Not the very latest tech, but more than enough...and you might get more attention in the showroom! Good luck and enjoy. I just bought a Cupra Leon with the same driveline as a Golf TCR as a compact runabout.
