Who keeps it all together at the Studio?

November’s calendar illustration was inspired by Julie Sherman’s beautiful snapshot of elongated tree shadows. And like most nature photos, it has a LOT of detail. To illustrate, we broke it down into simple shapes and forms that, with a little added color and pattern, bring everything back together.

Coincidentally, that’s also how we approach our work to create complex visualizations!?We at the Studio?all LOVE?getting nerdy with clients, Natalia Crosby most of all. Her deep analytical background,?combined with her talent for putting complicated concepts into layperson terms,?makes her the ideal?left-brainer on our team. She’s a pro at breaking down the details and offering clear insight on how to put it all back together—with words, numbers, and pictures.?

In addition to Natalia's analytical talents, she's also known at the Studio for her master project management skills. Here’s a tip from Natalia about how to approach a big task:

"When you look at something and feel like its overwhelming or have no idea where to start—it probably is! Take a pause and break it all down into smaller chunks and manageable pieces. It makes checking the boxes and moving ahead a breeze!"
