Who I Was Created to Be

Our purposes, at their core, are ultimately to glorify God in all we do. We were designed to reflect His light and love through every action, every thought, and every relationship. Yet, God, in His infinite creativity, has given each of us a unique and sometimes rare combination of gifts, traits, and perspectives. These are no accidents. They were lovingly woven into the fabric of who we are to fulfill this purpose in a way only we can. Your life, my life—each is a masterpiece in progress, a story written to inspire, uplift, and transform.

For much of my journey, I searched for clarity about who I am and why I am here. Along the way, I’ve learned that my purpose isn’t about achieving perfection or following a prescribed path. It’s about embracing the unique way I was made to show up in the world with all my strengths, struggles, and lessons. It’s about leaning into the gifts God has given me and allowing His glory to shine through my life. This realization has unleashed something powerful within me: the courage to live as a Maverick—unapologetic, bold, and purpose-driven.

I was created to nurture and uplift others. There is a deep desire to pour into those around me to help them feel seen, valued, and cared for. But this isn’t about self-sacrifice for the sake of approval. It’s about giving from a place of abundance, trusting that as I align with God’s design for my life, He will continually replenish my strength. There is joy in serving when it comes from a heart that understands the beauty of love unconditionally given. This is part of my mission: to inspire others to see their unique worth and to step boldly into the life they were created to live.

Creativity is another way I was designed to reflect God’s glory. The Creator of the universe made us in His image, which means we’re meant to create too—not just art or projects, but possibilities, solutions, and moments of connection. For me, this has meant learning to move beyond the fear of failure, beyond the weight of expectations, and into the fresh, unbridled flow of inspiration. I see beauty in everything when I do, which points back to the One who made it all. Living this way is freeing—it’s the essence of being a Maverick on a Mission, daring to think differently and blaze new trails.

Integrity has become a cornerstone of my life. For too long, I thought harmony meant avoiding hard conversations or bending to fit others' expectations. But true integrity isn’t about blending in; it’s about standing firm in who God created you to be, even when it’s uncomfortable. When I live with integrity, I make space for others to do the same. I’ve learned that by staying true to my values and calling, I can bring peace into places of chaos and hope into situations of despair.

I’ve also discovered that God’s abundance flows when I let go of control and trust in His timing. Prosperity isn’t measured by what I hold onto but by how freely I allow God’s blessings to move through my life. When I stop clinging to things out of fear and instead open my hands to give and receive, I find peace that surpasses all understanding. In that trust, I see the courage to be generous, knowing that God will always provide.

Life itself is an incredible gift, meant to be fully embraced. Sometimes, I let seriousness weigh me down and forget to laugh, savor, and breathe. But I wasn’t created to live under the heaviness of burdens. God calls me—and all of us—to delight in His creation, rejoice in His presence, and find moments of pure joy even amid challenges. When I let go and delight in the life He’s given me, I see a profound, almost otherworldly sense of ecstasy, a connection to the divine that fills my soul. It’s a way of living that feels unleashed and unstoppable.

Most of all, I’ve come to see that I was created to inspire—not through grand speeches or spotlight moments, but through the quiet, consistent testimony of a life lived authentically. When I step into who I truly am—when I embrace my quirks, my strengths, and even my scars—it gives others permission to do the same. My life reflects God’s love, not because it’s perfect, but because His grace transforms my imperfections into something beautiful.

I wasn’t created to walk someone else’s path, and neither were you. Each of us was lovingly crafted for a purpose only we can fulfill. I was created to glorify God by nurturing, creating, and inspiring in ways that flow from the deepest parts of who I am. This journey hasn’t always been easy, but every step has brought me closer to the person I was always meant to be—a Maverick Unleashed, fully alive, and fully in my purpose.
