Who Helped You Start Up?
The success of one startup cannot be attributed to a single organization or institution. To better understand the collective community effort required for one startup’s success, Launch Minnesota asked grantee CoraVie MEDICAL : “Who helped you start up?”
CoraVie Founder and CEO Aimee Garza credits more than a dozen organizations inside and outside of Minnesota with her company’s success.
Since the medical device startup was founded in 2020, it has won Minnesota Cup 's Health IT division, scored a National Science Foundation (NSF) grant with assistance from MNSBIR, Inc. , and received Launch MN Innovation Grants.
The list of achievements goes on, and there are many groups that helped CoraVie get where it is today!
CoraVie says these groups contributed to its growth:
gener8tor 's gBETA Medtech program
#DiscoveryLanchpad –MN (for innovation awardees)
There have also been many individuals in the community who have volunteered their time and talents to help CoraVie succeed. “I’m so humbled by the willingness of people to help!” said Aimee Garza.
