Who has the remote-control to-you?

In morning I woke up to find that my saree ,which I am to wear for a function burnt due to iron's glitch ...! 

I honestly noticed the unconscious emotions rise within me-

-Chide the person who did it

-Say things like - Where was your mind ? So careless ...couldn't you check it before putting the press on iron.....

La la la...

But I didn't speak anything ...

I asked my self 

Q- Is it you ?

Ans - no , but it is mine

Q- are you identified with it?

Ans- I dont know, seems yes .

Q- do you want to be?

Ans - No

We are identified with so much - Car ,house ,clothes ,shoes ,plates ,bedsheet .... la la la

These things are for our convenience , if we develop such deep sense of identification , then the probability of us getting accidental shocks is high! Think about it,

Mishap - Someone dented your car

You : going mad

Mishap-someone stole your cloth or shoes ( happen'd with me at ashram)

You - getting sad ; I personally cried and even called my mom :P

Mishap- someone ate in your plate

you-furious

Just about anything can set your trigger off!

Such an accidental piece of life you become ...

As if your remote is in someone else's hand ..There isn't the traditional slavery anymore , but isn't this a slavery?

However , this doesn't mean that you don't care for your things , yes you must . But when situations aren't in your hand , you can't reverse the moment so the sareee doesn't burn , but you can definitely get aware of your thoughts and emotions , and try to take charge of those ....

Further, What can you do about it, is there any way to fix ,lets find the solution .Besides , no one really wants to listen to your mulling ...Misery love company .

Take a few minutes to think of things which you think you are .... House , car ,room ,dresses ,makeup , society , reputation ,style , circle ... anything which you're carrying as yourself ... Is it really you ? If it weren't there tomorrow ,do you feel ripped off ?

Was it something you were born with or did you accumulate it ?
