Who Gives a Shit if You're Using AI...
Especially if It Makes Things Like Your Workflows to Life Better Around You, Right?
Let’s face it. We’re all juggling a million things at once—work, family, projects. In a world where time is our most precious resource, who gives a shit if you’re using AI to get things done more efficiently? If it makes your workflow smoother and your life better, it’s a no-brainer.
Remember when Elon Musk started launching rockets ( the ones that blew up) and everyone thought he was nuts? Hate or love the guy—he’s got rockets landing themselves now, robots serving drinks, and autonomous vehicles running around. If you remember he helped start OpenAI , setting the wheels in motion for all of this. He’s not using AI to replace engineers; he’s using AI to work alongside human talent, supercharging innovation with 英伟达 tech and even went on to create xAI to push his tech. When Tesla’s stock first launched at $17 per share back in 2010 a lot of non-users undermined it, but now look where it’s at now. The same mindset applies to AI—getting ahead of it and using it effectively and wisely can lead to massive opportunities.
For me, AI tools like ChatGPT , Google Translate Community , GitHub Copilot, IBM watsonx Murf AI , and even competitors like Google Bard , Google Gemini and Meta 's Llama have been game-changers, especially when it comes to business communication. These are tools I use for so many applications, and let me tell you—it enhancing my touch and reach. Look, I use a ton of tech and always have, everything from voice-to-text tech to conversational AI. Most of what AI helps me with still comes from my own words—it just structures them and boosts my efficiency when communicating especially when i'm writing. It’s like having an assistant who knows exactly how I speak, and I love it.
This tech has not only made my life more efficient but also driven the success of my businesses, generating meaningful revenue for those I work with. Yet, the greatest value isn’t just in the numbers—it’s in the time it’s given back to me. Time is the one resource we can’t buy, but with the right tools, we can create more of it. And for me, nothing compares to the ability to spend that time where it matters most—with my family.
Like any new technology, AI faces its share of mistrust, and with something so advanced along with its tsunami in user traction, I am not surprised. Just look back at when the first automobile was created—people scoffed at it, saying horses were more reliable, but then BOOM. The technology took off, and the car changed the world. AI is no different. Its adaptation is happening faster than most expect, but that also means it's often misunderstood.
People fear what they don’t fully grasp, and some think AI will replace humans, especially in cases like Elon’s taxis, buses, and his automatons. I mean look at his last event, he was highly scrutinized. People were saying that the robots had human control, which was nothing hidden—he's openly said these machines are being actively trained by humans. Even Reuters mentioned something about "sci-fi smoke and mirrors" reacting to Tesla's robotaxi unveil. But come on, you have to admire these products. The man steadily delivers, and haters gotta...well hate.
For the most part, and for now, AI frees us to focus on what humans do best—creativity, strategy, and decision-making with other humans. AI isn’t here to replace anyone just yet; it’s here to enhance our capabilities, as it has done for me, allowing me to scale my businesses without losing sight on what matters the most, human touch.
Burnout is real, especially when juggling multiple things. AI tools help me tackle high-priority tasks without getting buried in admin work that drains mental bandwidth. With AI, I can manage communications, strategize with stakeholders, and still have time for my family. It’s not about working harder—it’s about working smarter. I can’t even describe how much stress this tech has lifted off my shoulders. Having two boys who need me to be present is far more important than what anyone thinks about me using AI. When I look back, it’s the quality time spent with family, friends, colleagues, and business partners that will matter most.
From writing emails to analyzing market trends—and hopefully one day, even handling my dry cleaning—AI has become my silent partner.. from crafting messages to managing my schedule, AI structures my thoughts/day, corrects errors, and saves me hours of screen time. Instead of drowning in admin work, I focus on high-level strategies and spend quality time with people. This isn’t about losing the human touch—it’s about using AI to do what humans don’t need to.
With all it's awesomeness, if misused, AI can harm as well. Whether in business or government, misuse or over-reliance on AI can damage trust and much more. In fact, government agencies and companies like Polygraf AI —led by my friend Yagub Rahimov —are already using AI to sift through information to detect misuse that could hurt our country. Similarly, companies like my colleague Zeke Chavez 's (Materian.AI) use AI to fact-check data and verify information to prevent misinformation from spreading within our democratic system. AI can be incredibly ally, but it’s crucial to use it the right way.
So, who gives a shit if you're using AI?
Truthfully, we all should care. Use it mindfully, my friends. Embrace it, and you’ll see how it not only transforms your workflows but also enriches your life, bringing you closer to what truly matters. One last piece of advice—don’t judge the early adopters. You don’t want to be the person riding in a carriage, scowling at the changemakers. AI can’t replace your knowledge and experience, but it can amplify them. Always be ready to back up your work in person. It’s time to stop seeing AI as just another tech buzzword and start recognizing it as a tool that elevates your skills and unlocks new potential. So, if you get a message from me and think, 'Frank wrote this with AI,' well, maybe I did—and if it got the point across clearly, effectively, and saved us both time, then hell yeah. I’ll take that if we can get down to business.
