Who Funds Interims?
All too often organisations have to put their plans on hold while they wait to get headcount and budgets approved.
Maybe this is the wrong approach.
Our experience suggests that many organisations fund interim, contractors or project people out of different budgets to permanent employees. If you want to get a job done by an experienced professional then many of our clients appoint people for a certain time or to achieve a certain outcome. By doing this they generally do not form part of the overall headcount.
Getting experienced professionals who are available immediately and hit the ground running is the obvious advantage of using Interim Management. There are other project advantages include having clearer control of your budget and helping provide clearer ROI on projects. Thinking about using project funds for human, as well as other resources, makes a whole lot of sense.

8 年Great question Jacinta Whelan - there's often a compelling business case for getting some short term smarts on a project.
