Who will fund your long life?

Who will fund your long life?

Life expectancy in India in the early 2000s was 62 years. Now in 2023, it is 71 years. We will live about 10 years more than our previous generation.

10 years more.

Happy?

I am sure you like the idea of living longer.

But consider this

  • we don't have government-funded pensions as our parents had
  • we have lived a lifestyle that needed spending
  • we don't have any clue how much money we will need when we retire

Who will fund your long life?

Good news: We will live longer. Bad news: We have to fund our longer life

Don't worry though. We have time. But only if we use it wisely.

3 reasons why mid-career professionals should invest wisely.

  1. Build wealth for retirement: Investing wisely can help mid-career professionals build wealth for retirement. By starting to invest early and making smart investment decisions, you can potentially accumulate significant wealth over time. This can provide you with financial security in your golden years.
  2. Achieve financial goals: Investing wisely can also help mid-career professionals achieve their financial goals. For example, you may want to save for a down payment on a home, pay for your children's education, or start a business. By investing wisely, you can potentially grow your money faster and reach your financial goals quicker.
  3. Protect against inflation: Inflation erodes the purchasing power of money over time. By investing wisely, mid-career professionals can potentially earn returns that outpace inflation, helping them maintain their standard of living in the face of rising prices. This can provide them with a hedge against inflation and help them preserve their wealth over the long term.
